Water is a primary element. Clean water is essential to life on Earth. We are all dependent upon the quality and abundance of water.

Exploring the evolution of life from the primordial oceans of billions of years ago, our internal environment still closely resembles the ionic composition of the primeval seas. Man, however, has exploited the ancient creatures of the ocean and rivers.

The Sturgeon is a Jurassic epoch species adapting to salt and fresh water environments, anadromous. They have adapted over eons, surviving in spite of the changing temperatures, draughts and floods. They weigh up to 800 pounds and live to be 60 years or more, spawning as adults infrequently. The Sturgeon is endangered due to habitat loss and overfishing for their prized roe or caviar.

My Sturgeon icon represents this giant noble fish in the eternal circle of the astrological sign of Pisces, swimming up and down, always around. Their magical roe form a whirlpool of the life cycle. The corner symbols represent the Clean Ocean Innitiative, the symbol for Extinction, the fertility of the sun, and the emblem for the Save the Fish movement.
